We will be holding informational and educational town hall meetings at the Aquarina Community Center with experts from the Sea Turtle Conservancy, Marine Resource Council and Indian River Lagoon Wildlife Tours to update us on initiatives to conserve and preserve the ecosystem and wildlife in this area. We will be hosting fund-raising golf outtings and asking for volunteers to participate in projects to better our environment.
Sea Turtle Forum & Dinner
The summer Sea Turtle Nesting season has been incredible! Hear about the current status of sea turtle nesting and a reminder of what we can all do to help sea turtles survive on our barrier island.
Conservancy Friends of Aquarina will be doing a matching funds challenge for the first $5,000 contributed at our event to support interns and educational programs for the Sea Turtle Conservancy. Tax Deductible Donations of Cash, Check and Credit Card payments will be accepted on site.

11th Annual Tee Off For Turtles
Conservancy Friends of Aquarina was the Grand Sponsor for the event, supporting the Sea Turtle Conservancy's work on the Archie Carr Refuge at the 11th Tee Off for Turtles! The event was a success as we brought the community together to raise awareness of our local sea turtles. The event raised nearly $12,000 for our sea turtle education and conservation work locally, with the Conservancy donating $3,180 to that total.
